Pediatric Occupational Therapy
  • Is your child struggling at school?

  • Do they have a hard time remembering things you’ve told or asked him/her to do?

  • Do they have difficulty understanding directions?

  • Are they clumsy, often tripping and falling?

  • Do they struggle to sit still in class and is the teacher concerned regarding their lack of concentration and high activity level?

  • Do they struggle to understand the work in class and often need individual attention?

  • Are they constantly losing their belongings like lunchbox, cardigan, shoes, books?

  • Do they struggle to hold their pencil correctly?

  • Do they struggle in learning the correct sounds of letters?

  • Do they make letter and number reversals?

  • Is doing homework an uphill struggle for both of you?

  • Do they avoid all forms of sport and movement or play?

  • Are they a very fussy eater?

  • Do they find excuses not to go to school?

  • Has their teacher expressed concern regarding their scholastic performance?

If any of these answers is yes, then you may need an Occupational therapist to assess and treat your child.
